A place to relax
We travel to las pocitas with my husband and two dogs, I truly like this bungalows, had everything we need and was very comfortable, for the dogs was perfect too. The attention of the owners was lovely really helpful all the time.
It is up on the hill and the exit to the beach is right in front of you. If you want a place to be away from the noise of the town and relax this is it! The only thing is that from las pocitas to mancora the road is a little uncomfortable so you have to take mototaxis its easier than taking your own car, its a 10mins ride.

Awesome view and people
Giovanna was very nice and welcoming. She offered to assist us with anything we needed, and helped to organize our trip to swim with the sea turtles. Pancho, who helps out with guests was a very nice and smiley person to have around for a helping hand. It was a great place to hangout and relax with a nice view. Motor taxis are almost always available at the gate to take you to town when you need, which was nice because there is not much to do in an easy walking distance. Simple and tranquil.

Nice appartement next to the beach
We stay at the flat 10 days, everything was perfect, the beach is in front of the flat, Mancora is at 10min with moto taxi. Giovanna is very welcoming and helping, highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in a lovely, private beach house
We had a wonderful stay in this beach bungalow. It was a little tricky to find initially but Giovanni gave thorough directions, waited for our arrival and answered the call from our cab driver immediately when we asked for a few more details (as it turned out, we were immediately outside the gate of the property--there just wasn't any signage).
There were just two of us staying at the house but there would've been room for a few more. If you don't mind taking many stairs up to the house, this place could be great for a family of 3 or 4 (with limited privacy). It's private and you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach below all day and night. I believe this place was a great value. The shower was nice and the bed was fairly comfortable (nothing fancy). The kitchen worked well for preparing breakfast in the morning though we didn't cook at the house much more than that.
The location is about 10 minutes out of town but we felt the beaches just down the hill from the beach house were ideal--gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. We lounged and ordered food and beverages at nearby hotels so we even had comfy beach chairs. Even without, lying on a blanket or purchasing inexpensive beach chairs in town would've been an option too.
We went to town one night and ate at an Argentinian steakhouse called El Tablon, which I highly recommend. Fantastic empanadas and good people. It's simple to grab a moto taxi each way. The cost is about 10 soles ($4ish).
Giovanna, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us set up for our stay and informed us of the details of the area. She even arranged for us to have massages at the beach house!
I definitely recommend this spot.

We stay one week and that was perfect. A beautifull view and the house is perfect for relaxing. Also the owner is nice and realy care for help you to have a good experience in mancora.

Beautiful view and private
Giovanna and Luciano were wonderful hosts and very approachable. Pancho was the go to man for transportation, providing daily rides in his "Tuk-tuk" motocar for a very modest fee. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Highly recommended!
On our travelling through South America my wife and I were a little bit exhausted so we decided to make "vacations" for a week here in Giovanna's house. It was a very good decision! We relaxed here for at least 9 days. It is a simple but beautiful house, equiped with everything we needed. From the terrace we had a overwhelming vista over "Las Pocitas", the beach and the Pacific Ocean. If you are here in the right months and with a little patience you will be able to see humpback whales while you take breakfast on the terrace.
The house is spacious and cozy, clean, airy and bright, the shower with hot water, very good Wifi and Giovanna and her husband are very nice and were helpful with everything we asked for.
The beach is only 100 m downhill, it is a long sandy beach with shady places under palm leaf roofs. From here we saw the whales even better.
We enjoyed our stay here very much and highly recommend this accommodation!

Spring days are nice to see dolphins, pelicans, bird migration and specially humpback whales. October is the best month to appreciate these 15m size astonishing animals.

House with a beautiful view!
4 of us stayed at this beach house for one week in January 2013. The house is a 2 minute walk from a quiet beach where you can tan, swim or surf. It's a nice 30-40 minute walk into Mancora along the beach which can be done during the day or at night, depending on the tide. The house was clean and provided exactly what we needed. It has a kitchen with fridge and small 2 burner stove which you can use for breakfast or easy meals. Francisco (poncho) would clean the house daily, take our grocery order and give us "tuk tuk" rides into town. Great place to get a good nights sleep but still be close enough to town to have a good time. We even asked for a BBQ one day and Poncho rented one for us. Great experience!

Enjoyed our Stay
My fiance and I stayed here for a week in January 2012. We found everything to be as good or better than we had anticipated. The house is located on a little hill with a very picturesque view of the ocean and village of Las Pocitas. The house was cleaned and organized everyday. And the property manager "Don Pancho" was beyond helpful taking us everywhere we needed to go via mototaxi. He even delivered fresh bread and groceries in the mornings for a minimal fee. Definitely going back.
