Need's TLC, very tired looking compared with other local villa's.
The kitchen is rather small and dated, crockery chipped, pots & pans have seen their day, cupboards need a good clean, bedding was clearly rather old, we could not put duvet covers on, as all zips were broken, pillows need replacing,no spare bedding in case of accidents, only when cleaners came in, they only changed beds once within our 2 weeks.
Considering its a 6 bed, we were a family of 10 + 4 children,we felt that it was pretty cramped.
Outside the pool is of a good standard and was cleaned twice, sadly on the 2nd occasion, pool man left the hose running and was nowhere to be seen, luckily part of our group returned early in the day, and switched it off, then cleared the standing water up before the children arrived back, this could have led to a slippy nasty fall.
Hot tub okay, although behind on the ground had cig butts everywhere, this also needs tidying up.
We felt that it was hugely expensive given the lack of care, and needs reviewing,we spoke to another family who were in an exact same villa a couple of doors away, they paid far less for a much lovelier villa.
Never the less we had a good holiday and purely down to the exceptional good weather, had we had poor weather and limited to the villa, we would have been very unhappy.
Overall opinion very expensive and feel a bit cheated.
There are far better villa's to be had for the money we paid for Villa Carmen.
