A quiet get away
Honestly had such an amazing time in this beautiful cottage! Not only is the hot tub and sauna incredible! But The bees, the warm welcome! And also the house was ready with a fire lit for us and all! Had such an incredible time! Highly recommend this lovely cottage!

Perfect!!!
We only got home yesterday and I couldn’t wait to get on to write a review. My husband, myself and my twin daughters (aged 11) loved our time away. This cottage was perfect for us, very spacious & spotless!! Unlike many holidays we’ve been on - we never needed to fight over wardrobe space and we even had enough hangers too!! Beds were so comfortable and we all had such a relaxing nights sleep after relaxing in the hot tub every night. The hot tub was all prepared for us coming with clean water and Danny would call during the day to clean away any excess water we had left the night before. Kids really enjoyed the wee play park - this included a zip wire, which entertained my 2 every night. We only had one complaint - the decking had become slightly slippy due to the rain and that very day, Danny was down sorting it out. I would highly recommend these cottages to anyone looking to spend quality time away with family & friends. Danny & Dolores are honestly the most nicest, genuine people we’ve ever met. They are there if you need them but they also respect your privacy too. Danny took my girls to see the donkeys “Jedward” and that just made their holiday. We’ll definitely be back...

An idyllic setting,excellent facilities and very helpful hosts.
I would highly recommend millstone cottages number 3. The facilities were excellent the jacuzzi and sauna got plenty of use. The kids climbing frame and zip line was also a favourite. The grounds of the house gave plenty of scope for ball games. The house itself was beautiful and very homely. The beds were very comfortable. As for Danny and Dolores they were very helpful and friendly and advised us of local attractions and places to eat. We very much hope to return.

Great family retreat
Danny & Deloris were just wonderful from the start they go out their way to help as much as as possible to make you feel welcome The cottage was just brilliant we stayed in no3 and had some family stay with us too they had a ball and didn't want to leave The cottage is just out the way of all the hassle and is brilliantly situated away from the nearby cottages there is so much I liked about this place Would I visit this place again. ...DEFINITELY THANKS DANNY & DELORIS

Truly Wonderful
We escaped for a few days and were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of the cottage, its facilities, location and service from the owners. We contacted Danny & Dolores in advance with questions and they answered quickly and provided very helpful directions. On the day we were due to check in Dolores called to confirm what time we would be arriving. She said she would meet up at the cottage but to let ourselves in when we arrived. Opening the door we were taken aback by the fab double height entrance (not at all what we were expecting). The front room had a lovely roaring fire which was a blessing on a cold rainy day. Helpful details including wifi codes, taxi numbers were easy to find, as well as instructions on how to use the appliances. When Dolores arrived she was very friendly and happy to help including showing us how to use the Hot Tub. Private Hot Tub was certainly a very big bonus. It was exactly what we needed a true escape from work and a chance to truly relaxed. We came away from it feeling really refreshed and saying that we will certainly come back again.

An Irish Emerald In Donegal.......
Stayed over for a weekend with friends and I can honestly say that this is the nicest holiday home I have stayed in. The cottage is stunning in every way. Location is superb for a chill-out time as it is sooooooo quiet. The bedrooms, kitchen, living room etc were all spotless and first class but the crowning glory is the "huge" hot tub and the sauna in the outbuilding, just a perfect way to relax after sightseeing around this beautiful area of Ireland. Will definitely be booking this myself, hopefully in the near future.

Brilliant place, highly recommended!
My wife is from Milford (I'm from England) and we headed over there for my daughters 1st Holy Communion. Normally we stay with family but as there were a few of us going this time (Grandparents eager to share the day for instance!) we decided to book the cottage instead. The location is about 2km outside of the main town and is lovely and peaceful. The property itself is a great size and the jacuzzi and steam room were excellent, as was the children's play area that our kids and extended family from the town enjoyed. We really enjoyed our time here, the free wifi certainly helped us to keep in touch via Whatsapp with everyone as the mobile signal is really bad. The owners were very helpful and polite and explained everything to us when we arrived.

Customer service at its bets
Have to say, this was an extremley well run operation. The Cottage was spotless and Dolores was very welcoming. My wife and I had just welcomed our second daughter into the world and needed a quick break from everything and Milford Cottages delivered. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, Dolores was friendly, welcoming and extremly helpful. I work for the Radisson Hotel group and know exactly what customer care should be and here it was delivered. My daughter lost a small tea cup from her playset and on departure we informed Dolores that we couldn't find it and that as it was not important, just to dispose of it, if it turned up. 1 week later the cup was delivered to our front door. Now thats customer service. The small things go a long way and i would recommend Milford cottages to anyone. I'm already trying to organise a trip back with my family again. Thank-you Dolores and keep up the exceptional work!

Will definitely be back!!
Great place to stay. Everything you need for a brilliant holiday. So much to see and do in the surrounding area. Play park great for the kids and hot tub a great way to relax at the end of the day. Dolores made us feel very welcome, the only problem was that we weren't staying long enough. We will definitely be back.
