Another great stay, I will gladly come back in 2024
Another great stay at Anup and Mehak's, a couple always ready to make your trip enjoyable, while remaining discreet. Very clean and spacious apartments. And for those who can't disconnect... a very good WiFi! Do not forget to go to their restaurant Mel-Whysks, good food, young atmosphere and many animations. I promise, if all goes well I'll be back in January 2024

Excellent hosts, comfortable stay, delicious food and great location!!
We were a family of 3 adults and two children. Mehak and Anup are excellent hosts and made our stay super comfortable. Mehak is a super cook and made delicious breakfast, awesome ginger tea and her desserts are to die for. She is also a great baker. She made lovely focaccia bread. Would highly recommend that you try her meals. Mel Ville a comfortable and spacious accommodation. We stayed in Pearl which is a three bedroom apartment. It was perfect for our family. Also its very conveniently located, close to the French town. Everything worked in the apartment, the air conditioners, wifi, the TV. Anup and Mehak are great hosts and we had some lovely conversations. They recommended some interesting restaurants to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Hospitality redefined
I checked in on the 6th of July along with my husband and my pet dog. I have stayed at many high end 5star hotels before, but I must stay that the hospitality provided at Mel Ville exceeded beyond my expectations. The host are very warm and welcoming. The room was homely, comfortable and value for money. I would definitely stay at this place again just to have some more lovely conversations with Mahek and Anup. I can say with no doubts that this is by far the best place I have stayed at.

Good location and ambience.
Apartment is located in very good location, near to Rock Beach and French colony. Very well maintained property, clean. Good reception and hospitality by Anup and his wife.

Perfect Homestayï
Waren für 9 Tage im Mel Vile. Absolut empfehlenswert. Suite ist sehr geräumig,neuwertig,hell und picobello sauber. Nebst dem grossen schlaf- /livingroom gibt es ein badezimmer,noch eine zusätzliche toilette und eine küche mit allem nötigem equipment. Zimmer wir täglich gereinigt. Obwohl mann in Pondy viele möglichkeiten zum gut essen hat,haben wir mal dort gegessen. WOW.das war so gut ,dass 3 weitere nachtessen folgten. Mehak kocht mit LIEBE und LEIDENSCHAFT umd das merkt man mit jedem bissen. Ich kann diesen ort sehr empfehlen

Super Unterkunft, sauberes, gepflegtes Appartement. Ein idealer Ort um in Pondicherry etwas Ruhe zu finden. Man kann auf Wunsch da essen, Mehak kocht fantastisch. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dahingehen.

Perfect apartment in Pondicherry
Words are few to describe this perfect stay while in Pondicherry. Firstly the hosts Aunp and Mehak are very warm, friendly and wonderful hosts. They will go the extra mile to help for anything. They made our stay with our toddler very very comfortable. Anup sets up a WhatsApp group before you arrive and thats a brilliant idea to get quick answers and solve any doubts you have. Mehak prepares the meals and her breakfast was par yummy!! Very very generous portion sizes, dished very well and extremely tasty. We tried the Sindhi and South Indian breakfast, both are totally recommended. Location - this beautiful apartment is tucked away into a little street but is very conveniently located to all sites either walking or by auto. Anup can also help organise taxi for trips and airport transfers. Our room (Pearl) was very spacious, well equipped for everything that you may need and hence we had a very comfortable stay. Overall a full 10/10 for the wonderful hosts, yummy food and their beautiful apartment. We cannot thank them enough for everything and totally totally recommend this place especially with kids.

Brilliant location, excellent value with superb hosts
The hosts, Anup & Mehak, were wonderful. Really warm welcome and a genuine desire to ensure guests had a great stay. Mel Ville is perfectly located for easy access to all the sites in Pondicherry, either on foot or by auto. Tucked away down a little street which meant it was sheltered from background noise allowing for a good night sleep. Room (Ebony) was perfect size for us and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. Mehak prepares all the foods every day and uses ingredients from her roof top garden. You can't fresher than that! Quality of breakfast was superb. Plenty of choice and more than enough to fill you up. Pancakes were filling, big and really fluffy. Indian type breakfast was packed with taste and again superb quality. Our only regret is we didn't try her lunches. To ensure you're always in contact and get quick answers, Anup sets up a WhatsApp group. Brilliant idea that we found really useful With wonderful hosts, superb location and excellent food we can't recommend Mel Ville highly enough

great apartment and most of all - the human touch
Stayed in Mel Ville for a weekend. The apartment is perfect - spacious, nicely decorated, good location, very very clean and everything is in working order. For comfort in Pondicherry, this is great. But it gets even better - as the hosts make this into a memorable stay. They helped with everything - transportation, food, questions on things to see & do. They were in touch from time of reservation until i reached the airport on my way back. Never imposing, but always present in the most helpful and heartwarming way. This is a level of care and personal warmth no hotel will ever match.

WARM, COSY AND CENTRALLY LOCATED RESIDENCES
Centrally located apartments, with quick access to the main areas of Pondicherry, hosts Mehak and Anup were extremely warm in their welcome. Comfortable and clean residences, what was striking was the tasteful design and decor of the entire property. A delight to spend time in, including the terrace garden, also equally impressive was the homemade cooking by Mehak. Glad we stayed there and enjoyed their hospitality.
