Nous revenons pour la 3e fois à la villa..et c est toujours avec le même plaisir ! Amoureux du calme nous profitons toujours pleinement de cette vue magnifique.. Lieu d apaisement et de départ pour de belles balade La grande piscine est très agréable après une bonne partie de ping-pong ou de bronzage Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien et passer un super séjour Sans oublier Marc et Sarah qui sont des gens adorables ...toujours là pour nous aider..même si cela doit se faire dans l urgence 😊 Une chose est sûre nous reviendrons...vous devriez faire comme nous !!!!

A gem in nature. This is the first time we have booked a house in nature and was very positively surprised. We met Marc who followed us up to the house where Sarah received and showed us around. There was nothing missing that you do not have at home. There is everything in the kitchen in terms of dishwasher, washing machine. Lots of plates and cups. There is even exercise equipment in the basement. It is located on a peak so you have it all to yourself. The pool is extremely nice with salt water and not chlorine. Huge plus for us. Many places use the extra chlorine and here we were so happy they also came and cleaned it every 3 days. Our family had a canon go and cozy trip. This place is not the last time :)

Villa charmante avec vue imprenable sur la montagne, on peut profiter de la piscine et du barbecue en toute tranquillité. Personnellement, la salle de fitness est pour moi un plus. La région est tout simplement magnifique, à 30' de Malaga et 1h15' de Grenade. Bref ... super séjour passé en famille ! Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour y passer de merveilleuses vacances. A recommander sans hésitation !

Pensábamos reservarla para pasar un par de semanas. Gracias a los comentarios negativos no nos vamos a arriesgar a estropear nuestras vacaciones con el dineral que cuestan ni a que nos engañen quedándose con nuestra fianza hagamos lo que hagamos, ya conocemos a más impresentables sin escrúpulos que hacen lo mismo. Buscaremos otro sitio mas fiable y de personas más responsables. Gracias usuarios por desenmascarar a estas personas, por llamarlas de alguna manera.

Piscina sucia desde el principio, sin depuradora, diciendo que la has roto, no dándote ninguna solución.Trato nefasto y degradante por parte de la propiedad, haciendo lo posible desde la llegada para no devolver la fianza, quedándosela con excusas y falsedades como contando a varias personas más hospedadas el último día que solo estaban de visita. No se puede dialogar con ellos, no atiende a razones. Borde y mal educado. No te deja disfrutar de la casa, está constantemente allí controlando lo que haces tratándonos sin ningún tipo de educación, amenazando con echarnos por hacer ruido en mitad del campo. Vergonzoso!!!! Habíamos leído comentarios negativos parecidos queriendo descontar de la fianza dinero por desperfectos que ya estaban y gastos de agua, pero nos parecieron exagerados. Pues no, no lo son. A nosotros nos han engañado y se han quedado con nuestro dinero de la fianza. No os dejéis engañar. No recomendable para nada. Y si decidís ir, allá vosotros, avisados estáis, SUERTE!!!!

We have just returned from Villa Mary-Lou and cannot recommend it highly enough! It is an exceptional place in a breathtaking setting with endless views. We were a family of 6; my husband and I, our two children of 12 and 11 years and my parents and we all loved it equally. The owners Sarah and Marc have thought of everything and were so kind and helpful whilst giving us privacy too. They were on hand via WhatsApp if we had any questions. Marc met us in Trapiche and we followed him up the mountain to the villa. It is reached up a windy mountain road but we soon got used to this and it was only 10 mins up. The beaches were only 20/25 mins away too and there were fab shopping centres and supermarkets only 15/20 mins away. Sarah and Marc showed us around the villa and showed us how to work things. They were very welcoming and relaxed. It was a lovely touch to leave us a jug of freshly made sangria in the fridge as well as orange juice and chocolate milkshake for the children, a beautiful potato tortilla, cheese and olives!! The villa is spotless and everything has been thought of. We found it a real home from home. The kitchen is very well equipped with even a nespresso maker, percolator and slow cooker, as well as the usual gadgets. There were soaps in the bathrooms and toilet rolls and lots of herbs and spices in the kitchen. The rooms were light and airy and the aircon and fans worked well in the heat We had wall to wall sunshine whilst there and spent lots of time in the pool cooling off. It’s a fabulous sized pool and the children loved it. There’s also many areas of well thought out shade around the grounds under parasols, pergolas and canopies and often a nice breeze up the mountain too. There were many pool toys and inflatables, ball games, table tennis and badminton to keep us busy and we really enjoyed playing pétanque in the evenings in a lovely area at the side of the house. There was a pool table and gym in the house and a darts board outside too. We spent hours marvelling at the changing views and saw lots of wildlife too like chameleons, mantis, dragonflies, Eagles, bee eaters and hoopoes. We enjoyed watching the goat man take his herd up The hillside each day too. The villa is in a peaceful area but does not feel isolated as there are villas not too far away but far enough that you are not overlooked or disturbed. We visited Nerja and Maro beach and went kayaking from there. We did a fabulous walk up the Río Chillar and along the mountain from the beautiful Canillas des Aceituno. There was loads to do and see at Torre Del Mar and the children enjoyed the sea inflatable. There’s a nice evening market along the promenade too. We enjoyed the Aquavelis water park too.

Très belle villa au calme avec vue sur les montagnes. C'est un endroit superbe avec plein de possibilités d'activités sur place ou sur la côte en plus de la très belle piscine de la maison. Sarah et Marco sont des hôtes charmants, disponibles et attentionnés. Nous vous recommandons vivement cet endroit. Nous y avons passé un séjour merveilleux et inoubliable. Un grand merci.

As a family of 6 with children of various ages we needed something to suit everyone. We found Mary Lou Villa to be just that. It's pool engaged our two little ones for hours on end and the pool table and other equipment entertained the older ones. The villa itself is about a 15 min drive up in the mountain. These roads are not what we are used to in the UK. The first time we got taken up by Marc ( he was on his scooter) it was quite hair-raising to say the least. A single lane, dirt track , sheer drop at times and we had a 9 seater mini bus ! Marc showed us around and gave us the keys and we headed off to the supermarket about 20 mins away. Once down the mountain places are not too far away. The villa and location are beautiful. It really is in the middle of nowhere. The children didn't like the bees that seemed to appear more early morning and early evening. They can be quite annoying but funnily enough it was only me who got stung as I swatted one out the way then lay back down on top of it !! The Bbq was lovely and we used it a lot, thankfully it was recently covered so shields the cook from the hot sun.The basement had weights and other exercise equipment, a pool table along with some toys for the smaller kids. Sarah and Marc were on hand via whatsapp if we ever had question or a problem arose and they sorted it as quickly as they could. The pool was cleaned once a week and the water tank refilled once during our two week stay. Very little disruption on those occasions. Something that maybe could improve peoples stay would be a welcome booklet or folder containing information on certain things. Like how to work dishwasher/washing machine/oven or times pool /water men are coming or where things are kept. A general housekeeping pack possibly, stating what we as the guests needed to bring/buy ie toilet paper/ kitchen roll, for example. All in all it was a lovely relaxing holiday. You can't help but relax in the location its in. Sarah and Mac were always on hand if needed. My only reservation is the roads. We didn't venture out at night time as driving in the dark on those roads we were not comfortable with. Would I recommend it - yes. Would I visit again- definitely.
