The apartment was stunning. The owners live next door but we're not in the slightest intrusive. Everything about the accommodation was top class. The beds were comfortable the kitchen had everything you could ask for and the private terrace was stunning. I didn't see a sign of any pest infestation during our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone

We stayed at the Acogedor apartment on 3 occasions, Nov – December 2019, Dec 2021 – Jan 2022, and Nov 2022, 3 visit out of many we have made to Lanzarote over the years. We found the apartment cosy and comfortable, and just what we needed. However, on the second occasion we stayed leading up to Christmas 2022 we had cockroaches coming out of the gap in wall in the shower were the wall meets the floor, and the owner, Pablo eventually resolved the problem when he placed sealant to fill those gaps. We returned again on 8th November 2022, thinking we would have an enjoyable holiday, unfortunately on 21st November, my wife went into the bathroom and there was a large cockroach. We sent an email and called Beatriz round, she was shocked by the size of the cockroach she saw in the picture, and stated she would not like to have to use the bathroom especially on a night. (We also complained about ants in the kitchen cupboards and the fridge & freezer). The only resolution that was offered was a can of poisonous spray, which we were told to use the following day, but must be out of the apartment for the day once it had been sprayed, no alternative was offered. That same night we decided we could not stay in the apartment and booked to fly home early, on Friday 25th November, the earliest flight we could get. During the period from Tuesday to Friday morning, my wife killed at least 2 cockroaches a day, and which were coming out of the shower drain. So having only spent 17 of a planned 42 days in the apartment we flew home, having paid 2100 euros for the 42 days We asked Pablo & Beatriz to refund our money for the days we could not stay, because it wasn’t our fault that they had not undertaken proper pest control, yet they refused to refund us, despite admitting that we had to leave because of the problem. They did refund one week’s money, because they let the apartment out again within a week of us leaving, but refused to refund any further monies. No alternative options were offered e.g. like other accommodation, no professional company was called into to deal with the cockroaches whilst we were there, nor to our knowledge after we left. In our email dealings with Pablo, all the concern from him was about him and the apartment and what they were dealing with, there was no appreciation that we had had to curtail our holiday because of the cockroaches and they had not done enough to prevent it happening. We look at feedback before booking holidays and depend on others to provide information on where we book, so all we are saying is that if you book this apartment, please be aware of the possibility of cockroaches appearing, and that the response you get to the problem will not necessarily be the one you expect. We are informing you of our experience, despite what other contributors have provided about this apartment, we are giving you this information so you can take it into consideration before booking. If you require further information, or want photographic evidence we can provide this if you wish to contact us. Yes, we are very angry at the negative experience that has happened, never to return, but have provided our experience in a factual manner.

This has to be the best apartment i have ever stayed in. The photos do not do it justice. It feels more like a home. Its twice as big as the usual complex apartments. Also it has everything you need, the little things you have to buy coffee, sugar, cleaning products, herbs and spices, oils Spotless, great location and feels more like a home than a basic holiday let

We stayed at Pablo & Beatrix apartment for 6 weeks, the apartment contained everything we needed and more. Balcony which was private and had the sun all day, with table and chairs were we ate most of our meals etc. Pablo & Beatrix couldn't do enough, and were so helpful. For us it was a perfect location handy for 4 local supermarkets, including LIdl, all within 5 min walk, and a 10 minute walk to the front. Several nearby cafes & restaurants, 5 mins to the biosphere shopping centre, handy for local buses fro Aarrecife, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca etc. Already booked to return in 2020, can't thank Pablo & Beatrix enough. Counting the days until we return. Once again thank you for enabling us to have a great holiday.

Un appartamento praticamente ideale anche per un soggiorno di molti giorni perché gli spazi sono ampi e abbiamo trovato davvero tutto quello che può servire, anche la posizione é comoda, centrale e vicina ai negozi...

Puerto del Carmen bietet für jeden etwas. Interessante Promenade mit sehr guten und weniger guten Restaurants. Unser Appartement erfüllt vollständig unsere Ansprüche. Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles paletti. 👍🍀☘️

Pablo y Beatriz have thought of everything you could possibly want to be comfortable enabling you to maximise your time on this beautiful island. Delightful accommodation located in a quiet avenue where we received a warm welcome, and our hosts were keen to make our stay most enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Apartment was beautiful. Well situated for bars and restaurants - old and new town. Pablo and Beatrix are a very friendly approachable couple. We would certainly stay there again if the opportunity arises.

Apartment has everything you need for a great holiday. Large outside terrace for sun lovers. Location is 10 minutes from the strip and 5 minutes to the old town. Lidl supermarket 5 minutes away with a spar shop around the corner. This is one of the best self catering apartments that we have stayed in on Lanzarote. Pablo And Beatriz are welcoming and friendly. We will be back next year and hope we get a bit better weather.

Pablo and Beatriz are the perfect hosts, there when you need them! The apartment is large with every facility and it is a short walk to the either the port and old town or the main strip. We really felt at home and would stay there again. Enjoy your visit!
