We stayed for 3 weeks at 750 euros per day, half way through our stay I opened the locked( code) safety box in the cupboard only to realize that my husbands Rolex was missing and 1000 euros in cash!
Gili police, Lombok police,owner of villa and booking agent - all notified! All incompetent
The manager kept the keys hanging in the little hut/ office behind the villa.... accessible to all the staff and there friends!!’
We had no hot water in the bathrooms!
The villa was dirty especially the kitchen and needed a substantial revamp!
Regardless we had a great time, the snorkeling is awesome and the island has a lot to offer!

Poorly maintained, poorly managed, unsanitary.
The main advantage of this villa is its location. We had booked the villa next door (Coral Flora Villa via Agoda) but 4-6w before the departure date were told by Coral Flora Villa there had been a double booking and we no longer had that villa. Since our tickets were booked, we went for Gili beach resort 2 in the end.
The whole place is unsanitary, the bathroom hasn't been scrubbed in ages, the kitchen is filthy with mould and the cabinets have not been wiped down or cleaned in a long time. Cooking margarine was left in a tub in the kitchen cabinet uncovered and there were many cockroaches (killed 6 on our last night there). The sponge used to clean dishes was black with filth, and the tap was broken so the lever was not usable (we actually fixed it whilst there).
The pool had a lot of particulate matter and it cannot be due to the trees shading the area, since the pool next door also had sheltering trees but was much cleaner. I had to get them to backwash the pool filter, vacuum the pool floor and run the filter 24/7 and there was a marginal improvement. Towels weren't changed until staff were informed. Rubbish wasn't cleared (we often cleared them ourselves). There were many stains on many of the cushions on the sofa. The floors were never mopped whilst we were there.
The whole place looked like it needed a major overhaul and no one has really bothered with maintenance or staff training. If it was cheap budget accommodation, it was probably acceptable, but at the price we eventually paid (570 USD per night), it was frustratingly disappointing. Perhaps have a look at the photos uploaded.
The only plus point was the location since there was great snorkelling off the north coast.

La maison est superbe, bien située, à disposition des vélos pour toute la famille pratique pour faire le tour de l’île ! De superbes petits déjeuners soignés...Que dire de plus le personnel est merveilleux!

Beautiful villa with fantastic staff and an ideal spot
The location is fantastic! Once we got off the boat Tony was there to greet us and help organise our transport to the villa. Once we arrived (it took about 20 to 30 minutes by horse and cart - there was a huge storm around New Years and the northern portion of the road had been demolished so it took a little longer than it usually would) the Susan and Margret were there with fresh juice and made us feel at home. The villa is beautiful and we could not fault the staff there - nothing was too hard for them.
We had a party on the beach across from the villa and they organised everything from the food, to a bonfire and even had a birthday cake ordered for us. It was beautiful.
The snorkeling out the front of the villa is some of the best I've ever seen. It's relatively shallow so you can just float around on top and you'll get to see everything. It's best to go out at high tide so you don't have to walk across the coral that is exposed at low tide.
Highly recommend making use of the bikes and riding around (and through) the island. It's a great way to see everything.
We had an amazing time and were so welcomed. It felt just like being at home with friends we'd known for a long time. A very special thank you to the staff of the Gili Beach Resort Villa 2!

Very nice place ...
We loved the house : for a renting house the furniture are so beautiful, the staff is top friendly, the quality of the massage is incredible ....
The house is located in a quite part of the island ... that we were not expected so much is a really party animals island !
The only things a little disappointed is that your have fantastic snorkelling in front of the house but you have to walk quite far between the rocks and this is not so nice ... i saw tortules in front of ... but it was quite tuf to arrive in the sea ! And the excursion proposed by the manager are not always value for money (a boat for snorkelling was suppose to pick up us in front of the house but at the end we had to walk for 1/2 hour ... )
But expect this two little points the house is a paradise and we really enjoy our stay there !

THE TOP OF LUXURY IN GILI T.!!
La VILLA sin palabras…!! Es una casa como la que te imaginas en tus sueños... Una impresionante estructura de madera elegante y nada convencional, sofisticadamente decorada al detalle… Tienes distintos ambientes donde poder disfrutar de las vistas a su playa privada y piscina con todo tipo de comodidades! Me quedo con la cama balinesa en la playa oyendo el ruido del mar y viendo los colores del atardecer después de hacer la excursión en barco que te organizan para hacer snorkel...Hay que ver las maravillas de esta isla en sus profundidades!! Ademas te proporcionan todo el equipo de buceo que es un plus!
Realmente sientes que estas de RELAX y rodeada de LUJO!
Cama y almohada perfectas, y el desayuno exquisito! Me encantaron los pancakes de nutela a media tarde y ese masaje... Gracias a todo el equipo que estuvieron muy atentos y amables... Servicio excelente!
Es de esos lugares que debes conocer una vez en la vida…! Lo recomiendo al 100%! Volveré seguro!!

Nous étions 2 familles avec chacun 2 enfants. Maison très bien conçu : grande, aérée, confortable, extrêmement propre. Il ne manque rien. Piscine et Bord de plage privatif. Suffisamment éloignée du chahut de la ville mais toujours accessible à pied ou à vélo même avec des jeunes enfants. Fond marin extraordinaire en face de la villa (aquarium géant de poissons multicolores).
Personnel extraordinaire. Toujours là quand vous en avez besoin et d’une extrême discrétion et gentillesse. Le patron vous organise vos transferts A/R Bali to Gili au meilleurs prix (porte à porte), le staff vous prépare des petits déjeuner à la demande au fil de l’eau du levé de chacun, Adhi vous organise des balades en mer trié sur le volet, un BBQ sur la plage au coucher du soleil (à ne pas louper). Des vélos sont à notre dispositions dès votre arrivée pour vos balades (Ils avaient même prévu des vélos à la taille de nos enfants), des prêts de masques, tubas, palmes à la demande…. Un niveau de service exemplaire.
Si vous voulez vivre un rêve en famille ou/et entre amis, c’est l’endroit idéal.

The Best in Gili T
As all the review suggest, this villa is certainly the best Gili T has to offer. It's away from the busy market area and right on a beautiful beach. The villa is very well maintained and the staff is great. They provide Cycles & Scuba Gear and the pool is great to laze in. We were travelling with 8 friends and everyone had a great time. Alessandro who manages the property made sure we had everything we need.

un angolo di paradiso !
La villa è un capolavoro, è situata in una zona tranquilla dell'isola, ma non lontana dai ristoranti e dalle comodità, l'architettura in legno è bellissima e l'arredamento è curato in ogni dettaglio.
Piscina e spiaggia privata sono il tocco di classe !
Lo staff estremamente cordiale e la colazione eccellente fanno di questa villa un vero e proprio angolo di paradiso.
Torneremo presto.

Médaille d'or pour le staff !
La villa est superbe, encore mieux que sur les photos, aucune mauvaise surprise.
Le personnel est vraiment aux ptits soins. Ils ont été d'une gentillesse sincère, très serviable, prêts à se plier en quatre pour nous faire plaisir.
Nous étions trois couples et deux enfants de 6 et 8 ans et avons passé un séjour inoubliable.
Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement le manager (Adhi) qui est exceptionnel et met l'ambiance dans l'équipe.
